It provides a wonderful opportunity for people using wheel chairs, mobility scooters and even baby buggies to enjoy the call of the tui and move among hundreds of fantails. The Trail starts with a bridge across a trout spawning stream. The trail is hard-surfaced and boardwalked for ease of use. At the turn-around end of the trail, views of Pohaturoa can be seen through a 'window' in lakeside vegetation.

ACCESS: From Dunham Creek Reserve off Ongaroto Road (SH 30).
HIGHLIGHTS: Roll'n'stroll across the trout stream bridge and through native bush and wetlands, Tui and bellbird song can often be heard here with fantails towards the turn-around point.
